New StudioStudioNew Studio
Santa Fe, New Mexico

I arrived in Santa Fe yesterday evening. My room and studio are both spacious and bright.

This morning I have had the studios to myself so I began by arranging my space. Now that I’ve got my desk where I want it, I am taking a moment to post this and get used to my surroundings. The trek for supplies comes later this afternoon.

There are a few things left over from Albuquerque that I hope to show you in the coming days. It has been sensory overload this past week, which has made it hard to stay on top of things. I have a feeling that won’t let up anytime soon. And I don’t want it to.

  • Wow, how exciting. I am so envious – I love Santa Fe. Another amazing meal was had there (do you get the feeling that I just eat my way around the world..?) at the Anasazi restaurant. Hopefully that one hasn’t shut down.

  • Still in business! I just looked. Thanks for the recommendations—let me know if you have more!

  • As I remember the Anasazi was quite swanky and we went for a special treat. If you go and they have Anasazi S’Mores on the menu you MUST have it: we still talk about it to this day. It was our introduction to S’Mores and it totally spoiled us for ever having them again! Another place I really liked was Cafe Pascal’s. It had a lovely laid-back atmosphere – and was a bit let pricey.
